Wedding hullabaloo... Hää humua...

The royal wedding is around the corner and hype around it is enormous. Tv is full of differend kind of wedding shows and even a movie about Katie and William came out this weekend. Theres a album called Now That's What I Call A Wedding, full of differend kind of love songs performed by differend artists.
On the language school comming friday is school day but everybody gather around and will follow wedding happenings.
Another fun thing is that everyday is icecream car day here :D

Kuninkaalliset häät nurkan takana ja mainostus sen ympärillä on valtavaa. Telkkari on täynnä erillaisia hää ohjelmia ja nyt pääsiäisviikonloppuna telkkarista tuli elokuva häihin liittyen. On julkaistu albumi Now That's What I Call A Wedding joka on täynnä erillaisia lauluja häihin liittyen eri artisteilta.
Tulevana perjaitaina koululaiset ovat normaalisti koulussa mutta kaikki kerääntyvät seuraamaan häätapahtumia.
Toinen hauska seikka on että jäätelöautopäivä on joka päivä :D

Koulun lähellä sijaitsee Millenium Foorumi joka on teatteri ja konferenssi keskus.

2. Design a tourism questionnaires for visitors to Derry
3. Design a unigue and innovative tour of Derry students
4. Design a new treasure hunt/puzzle hunt (What ever that means)
5. Design an information page with the top ten places to visit in Northern Ireland.
- Taskes from 2 to 5 are secondary taskes or in other words, extra.

Last schoolday... Viimeinen koulupäivä...

Today was my final english lesson on school. Our topics were environment chance and future.
Near by school was a mall that i went to check out there was pretty much everything clothes, books, cafeterias, foodstore.
I learned a bit more about my works that i'm going to do but learning more about those tomorrow.

Tänään oli viimeinen enkuntunti. Aiheina tunneilla oli mm. ympäristönmuutos ja tulevaisuus.
Koulun lähellä oli ostari jossa kävin katselemassa paikkoja. Sieltä löytyi kaikkea, vaatteita, kirjoja, kahviloita ja jopa ruokakauppa.
Kuulin jotain työstä jota teen loppuajan täällä, mutta opin hieman enemmän asioista huomenna.

Warm day and old buildings... Lämminpäivä ja vanhoja rakennuksia...

Today weather has been real nice and warm just a little windy.
Tänään sää on ollut todella mukava ja lämmin, vain vähän tuulinen.

Here one picture of our class. Teacher next on left from me is real nice person and like him a lot. Today i heared something about my works and i have job interview next wednesday what means that i go to school on monday and tuesday.

Theres a picture of my room that i will have first two or three weeks, i get a new one when one of Germans returns to her home.

Tässä kuva minun huoneesta jossa nukun ekat 2-3 viikkoa, saan uuden huoneen sitten kun eräs saksalaisista asuntokumppaneistani palaa kotiin.

On my school way... Koulumatkalla...

Now that i'm finally learned how to walk shcool and back heres some pictures that i took.

In the last picture of this entry there is a picture of a river and it's called Foyle river. The name Foyle has been used here a lot for example my schools name is Foyle language school and it locates near by the river.

Then theres more pictures of the Wall you can notice those cannons still in place there. And also picture of the city arm on the wall.

Then theres lots of pictures about old building, you can find much of them in here. Theres those old buildings and then next to it there can verry well be a newer building like a supermarket or something. Bubs and cafeterias are really common here.

Then theres a picture of school and fire / emergency station.

And the old car that i saw on the street.

Weather heres has been nice so far but the street in which this apparment locates looks dirty and today i noticed many beercans here and there.

Olen vihdoinkin oppinut kulkemaan koululle ja takaisin joten tässäpä lisää kuvia.

Alimmassa kuvassa näkyy Foylen joki, Foyle on hyvin yleisesti käytetty täällä esim. kouluni nimi on Foylen kielikoulu.

Lisää kuvia muurista ja kaupungin vaakuna. Kiinnittäkää huomioita tykkeihin muurilla.

Sitten kuvia vanhoista rakennuksista joita on täällä paljon. Kun kävelee kaupungilla niin voi nähdä vanhan rakennuksen ja heti sen vieressä uudemman rakennuksen kuten ruokakaupan tai jotain. Pubit ja kahvilat katukuvassa ovat hyvin yleisiä.

Matkan varrella on myös koulu ja paloasema. Sekä kivan näköinen vanha auto jonka näin tänään.

Sää on ollut hyvä mutta katu jonka varella asunto sijaitsee on likainen ja ihmiset tykkäävät juoda olutta sillä tänään koululle kävellessäni näin useita tyhjiä tölkkejä.

On the tour... Kierroksella...

First week on Derry i have school. Today was my first day and i had english test, lesson and then tour. Tour was nice, guide had good sence of humour and he knew how to tell the story of town. We went to walk for Walls and from there we many parts of town. Indoors it's a bit chilly here as there's only one class in windows and cars in here drive left side of the road and steeringwheel is also on the left side. When you're opening a door you need to push it instead of pulling it.

Ensimmäisellä viikolla minulla on koulua ja tänään oli eka koulupäivä joka piti sisällään englannin testin, yhde oppitunnin ja loppupäivästä kierroksen kaupungissa. Kävelimme Derryn historiallisella muurilla joka oli tosi vanha, mutta silti upea. Sen päältä oli hienot näköalat joka suuntaan johon katsoi. Eniten minua on hämännyt täällä se että autot ajavat vasenta kaistaa ja ratti on vasemmalla puolella. Sisällä on myös välillä kylmä, ikkunoissa on vain yksi lasi. Ovet avautuvat täällä sisäänpäin.

I'm a tourism industry student on my way to Derry where i will spend 6 weeks completing my learn-on-the-job period. This is my fist time in Ireland so i'm a bit excited!

Derry locates in Northern Ireland and is part of United Kingdom.
